I’m looking into stem cell treatment

You have a diagnosis and you keep seeing stem cell ads. Before you believe any of them: what Japan has actually approved, what is only registered, and what a course really costs.

The clinic behind this site

This site is published by GINZA NOA CLINIC, a regenerative medicine clinic at Royal Crystal Ginza 3F, 5-4-6 Ginza, Chuo-ku, Tokyo. About the clinic →

Medically reviewed

Content is prepared by our editorial team and medically reviewed by Ryosuke Tanabe, MD, Director of GINZA NOA CLINIC. Where the evidence is early-stage, mixed or condition-specific, the page says so.

One price, not a marked-up one

The figures on this site are the clinic’s own menu prices. No separate referral or coordination markup is added by this website, and reading it costs nothing.

Same price for every patient

GINZA NOA CLINIC provides the same quality of care at the same price regardless of nationality or ethnicity.

Regulatory documents first

Trial data with its limits

Every survival figure arrives with its trial name, patient group, and the caveat that it may not apply to you.

Plain language, dated prices

No jargon without explanation. Every price list carries the month we checked it.

Where the clinic is

Royal Crystal Ginza 3F, 5-4-6 Ginza, Chuo-ku, Tokyo 104-0061. Three minutes on foot from Tokyo Metro Ginza Station (Exit B6), five minutes from JR Yurakucho Station (Ginza Exit).

Departments registered at this clinic

Gynaecology, internal medicine, dermatology, orthopaedic surgery and a pain clinic — the departments registered for the clinic under Japan’s Medical Care Act. Allergies and immune modulation, cancer prevention and aesthetic medicine are also handled on site.

Cells are processed in the same building

The clinic runs its own cell processing centre (GINZA NOA CLINIC CPC). Under the Act on the Safety of Regenerative Medicine the Minister of Health, Labour and Welfare has assigned it facility number FC3250034. Tissue collected from you moves into culture immediately, which keeps the amount that has to be collected down.

Hours, and how booking works

Monday to Saturday, 11:00–19:00. Closed Sundays and public holidays. Regenerative medicine is by appointment and runs on a referral basis, so tell us who referred you when you get in touch.

Facility

These are provision plans filed under Japan’s Act on the Safety of Regenerative Medicine, and the facility number assigned to the processing centre. Each plan is reviewed by a certified committee for regenerative medicine before it is filed. Filing a plan is not the same as a product approval: a regenerative medical product needs separate marketing authorisation under the Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices Act, and these treatments are provided as self-pay care rather than insurance-covered care. The plans above cover the treatments listed against them and nothing else. How the two routes differ →

Filed plans must be read together with the risks explained during your consultation. Not every patient is a candidate, and treatment is only provided after a physician has assessed your records and examined you.

Three Lines We Never Cross

What You Will Never Find on This Site

No miracle claims

Stem cells are not a cure-all and immunotherapy is not a guarantee. Where evidence is early-stage, we say early-stage — in the headline, not the footnote.

No invented statistics

Every number traces to a named trial, filing or price list with an access date. If a figure cannot be sourced, it does not appear.

No pressure to decide

We answer questions and hand you the framework. The decision — and the consultation — stays between you and licensed physicians.

Before You Ask

Six Answers, Up Front

Is GINZA NOA CLINIC a hospital or a clinic?
GINZA NOA CLINIC is a medical institution in Ginza, Tokyo, registered for gynaecology, internal medicine, dermatology, orthopaedic surgery and pain management, and it runs its own cell processing centre. This website is its international patient information site. Reading it is not a consultation and does not create a doctor–patient relationship — assessment and treatment decisions are made by the clinic’s physicians after examining you. Reading it is not a consultation and does not create a doctor–patient relationship — assessment and treatment decisions are made by the clinic’s physicians after examining you.
Does it cost anything to ask a question?
No. Reading every guide is free, and sending us a question on WhatsApp or LINE is free. We answer with named sources, not opinions.
Can you tell me which hospital to choose?
We do not rank or endorse providers. We give you the verification framework — registration status, cell-processing documentation, published evidence and itemized pricing — so you can compare any provider yourself, or bring the framework to your own physician.
How current is the information?
Every guide names its sources and the date they were accessed — PMDA and MHLW records, peer-reviewed journals such as the New England Journal of Medicine and Blood, and published price lists from providers such as Tokyo Midtown Clinic and Kameda Medical Center.
What do the numbers on this site actually cover?
Stem cell course prices (JPY 3.4 million to 50.59 million for 100–200 million cells over 1–20 sessions), NK cell therapy (JPY 0.5 million to 9.57 million), the initial consultation fee (JPY 5,500), published Ningen Dock prices at other Japanese providers shown for reference, and survival data from named trials — each figure labelled with its scope.
How do I start?
Send us one question on WhatsApp (+81-8070161366) or LINE (+81-8075357788). Tell us your situation in a few lines. We reply with the relevant guides, the numbers that apply to your case, and the questions worth asking next.
